NEW RELEASE! Harry’s Chai Rocky Road
Introducing our newest flavour - Harry's Chai Rocky Road - an exclusive flavour made especially for and only available at Obsidian Star.
Our Chai Rocky Road is avaliable in 2 varieties, the first is Harry's Chai Rocky Road - a mix of vanilla jubes, marshmallows and rice crisps all coated in Milk Choc with ground cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and star anise.
The second is Obsi's Chai - a mix of vanilla jubes, marshmallows and rice crisps all coated in Milk Choc with ground cloves, cinnamon and star anise plus whole cardamon seeds mixed through, to give a peppery/cardamony burst.
The flavours are only avaliable at Obsidian Star in either a 250g pack or a 75g pack.
The celebrate the launch of this new flavour we are going to give away to one lucky person - one 250g packet of each flavour! To enter you simply need to leave a comment with your reason for loving Chai! Simple. Introducing the latest addition to our range of flavours - Harry's Mocha Rocky Road.
Harry's Mocha Rocky Road is a tempting mix of chewy Chocolate Jubes, Vanilla Marshmallows and crunchy Rice Crisps all coated in Milk Chocolate filled with ground Coffee Beans with Coffee Brown coloured White Chocolate Squiggles and Dark Chocolate Squiggles.
Four lucky Facebook Fans got to try our prototype of this flavour... Below is a sample of their feedback:

This week we launch the newest flavour to our range of Rocky Road! Not for the faint-hearted, we introduce Harry’s Chilli Cherry Rocky Road.
Harry’s Chilli Cherry Rocky Road is a fiery mix of Cherry Ripe chunks, Rice Crips and Vanilla Marshmallows all coated in Hot Dried Chilli filled Dark Chocolate.
To celebrate the launch - we want to give away a $15 Gift Voucher to use in our Online Store!

Hello 2010!
A week of 2010 gone already! Oh my...
Our goal at the start of 2009 was to make it the year for "getting things done"... I reckon we did that.
- We survived our first Nappy Hunt and loved our second.
- Started offering Gift Hampers - and have sent them around Australia for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Births, Christmas...
- Created some new flavours including our Pistachio, Triple Choc and Peanut Butter Rocky Roads!
- Found the Connect 2 Mums community.
- Managed to cope with our biggest order - 3000 individual pieces for Westpac in Sydney.
- Got our Facebook Fan Page up and running.
- Started our monthly newsletter.
On a personal note we built our first home, moved into our new home, survived our first year of marriage and welcomed Emily Grace into our family...
I wish I could say 2010 will be the year of "resting"... But early signs suggest it won't be...
- Our new home will allow us to wholesale our product to stores around the country.
- We will be visiting Farmer's Markets throughout Victoria.
- We have some more fantastic new flavours to launch this year including Chilli-Cherry and Honeycomb.
- We will be launching some fantastic new gifts as well as the return of our Easter Eggs (this year with 8 flavours instead of four)!
- Our Sponsorship of the Nappy Hunt will continue with a bigger and better mini-hunt in March.
- We hope to have a bigger involvement with the fantastic people at Connect 2 Mums.
- Our Facebook Fan Page and our monthly newsletter will be home to some of our biggest competitions ever!
Thank you for your support in 2009! We are really looking forward to 2010!

Christmas orders are now all finalised... YAY! Thank you to everyone who placed an order this Christmas! Everyone should receive them on time, even with the Posties on strike.
Time to start getting Christmas lunch organised - hosting this year - and then packing and moving... We should get the keys to our new house (building - first home buyers) on Christmas Eve - with custom built "Rocky Road Kitchen"! We've got a busy couple of weeks ahead...
